Pumpkin fun!!

Kai got to pick a pumpkin at the small pumpkin patch at his school and then he choose some baby pumpkins for Sienna-faye at the pumpkin patch, of course Mummy wanted in on the fun so she got one at the pumpkin patch too. lol.
Kai and I had a lot of fun gutting and carving the pumpkins last night. I'm quite impressed with myself, afterall it was my first time doing pumpkins! yay :)

The Pumpkin Patch & Fall Festival.

This past Friday we decided to take a drive to Henderson and take the kids to the Sunset Station Casino to go to the pumpkin patch, we had lots of fun. We brought some pumpkins, saw animals in the petting zoo, Kai got to go on a few rides and Sienna, well she was not interested in anything haha.

Saturday morning I took the kids to the Fall Harvest Festival on base, Lee was sleeping as he has been working nights so I got the kids dressed up in their costumes and headed out to base, it was a fun day. We won a few prizes and played lots of games.

So the other day Kai found my boots, he decided to try them out lol.

Auntie Jen and Uncle Brent wanted to buy the kids their costumes this year and we just recieved them in the mail today. Kai was sleeping when I opened the box so I haven't got any pictures of him in his costume yet, I will take some of him when he wakes up from his nap.

School pictures and nap time!

Kai had his school pictures taken the other week, I'm quite impressed with how they turned out. If you know Kai you know that as soon as we get anywhere near a professional photographer he gets his grump on.

And as for the nap time, well Sienna feel asleep [for the first time] in her high chair whilst being fed dinner. She managed about 5 spoonfuls of chicken stew before crashing lol.

First steps!!!

Sienna-faye took 4 steps by herself tonight, yay! It is about time she got the hang of this walking malarkey! She has been cruising for about 4 months and for the past few weeks she has been standing unaided for about 3 minutes and then just sits down. She was so excited :) I will get pictures once she starts walking a bit more!

Yay, today is Sienna's birthday we had a great time at the BBQ yesterday. The kids had fun playing pass the parcel and we had lots of great foods. Sienna enjoyed being a princess :)

Peek-a-Boo!

Sienna has just started playing peek-a-boo, it is so cute. And of course I had to take a few snap shots :)

She is such a little poser, haha.

The 1st post!

So here goes the first update....

Kai:

Kai is starting to like school again. He loved it at first and then a few weeks ago he would cry and cling on to my leg when I try and leave him there, but the funny thing is, is that he still would not leave when it was home time, it would take me 20 minutes to get him to leave. Funny boy! But now every school day he tells me "Mummy, I'm not going to cry, I'm just going to be mad and wait for Jayden and when Jayden gets here I'll be happy". Jayden is Kai's friend. He is our sponsors little boy and they live just down the road from us. They play so nicely together. So now he just sits on the bench and waits for Jayden to come to school and then he is fine, no more crying just some sulking now and then haha. Kai can write his name and draw wonderful pictures, his favourite picture to draw is a man on a boat with the sunshine and birds. He's getting very good now!

Sienna-faye:

Sienna is almost one, YAY! She'll be turning one on Sunday, I can't believe how quickly the year has gone! She is such a big girl now. She can say several words: Mumma, Dadda, SiSi (when she wants food lol), Hiya, Brobra (brother), she has said Kai once but not again, she says Yeah, Nan and I think that is about it. She waves byebye when it is time for bed. She still isn't walking but pulls up/cruises around everything. She can stand by herself now, the other day I stood her up and she stood there for a good 3 minutes.

We're having a party/BBQ for her birthday on Saturday, it should be lots of fun. I'll post pictures of them after the weekend.

Kai and Enna just love each other so much, they play so nicely together. They're always hugging and kissing each other!
